The Royal School of Needlework (RSN) is celebrating their 150th anniversary with a special exhibit at the Fashion and Textile Museum April 1-September 4. RSN was originally founded in 1872 to both preserve hand embroidery as an art form and support women working. 150 Years of the Royal School of Needlework: Crown to Catwalk will highlight the evolution of RSN and feature works from their 5,000 piece collection, including commissions for the British royal family and pieces designed by top designers and students.Adults £12.65, concessions: £11.55, students £10.45 and under 12 free

Bendicks — Established in 1930 by combining the names of Oscar Benson and Colonel 'Bertie' Dickson, these 'quintessentially British' Bittermint dark mint chocolates are still made based on the original recipe. In 1962, the chocolatier was awarded a Royal Warrant 'By Appointment to Her Majesty The Queen' and Bendicks product remain popular today.
